Dusk in the mining town

There is always something fascinating about the hour when day turns to night and the colors are sort of a mixture of both. It only lasts for a short while, and then it’s over. This time of year sunset comes really early here where we live – these pictures were taken about 16.00 hours.

I think our small town is such a fascinating place to live. We are so close to the sea, and we have this huge quarry, and then these old buildings right in the old center of time with a medieval church. People have lived here for more than a thousand years, maybe even much longer than that.
