Well, we’ve not really had a summer so far, or so my children inform me – it is not summer when it’s raining constantly and your husband walks in woolly socks and shivers all day long in his new office. But on the plus side – our oldest doesn’t complain about not being able to go swimming (broken arm), and I get to do all sorts of craft projects that I have been saving for a rainy day. 100% win-win!
First on my list was making some new bracelets. I made these from beads bought in South Africa a couple of years ago. It’s a pity I didn’t buy more beads – they cost nearly nothing, but at the time I was fed up with shopping (It can actually happen!). Anyways, I love the colours, and I love my new summer bracelets.
The bracelets were supereasy to make – I just strung the beads on some elastic thread and tied it off. The scull beads were bought in Copenhagen in a tiny bead shop.
Lo an behold – just when my bracelets were finished, the sun started to shine! today has been the first real summer’s day in a long time.

And this one is for you Mrs Bahne: http://ultimateblogchallenge.com/
