A new year, and new beginnings! In a way New Year’s is a construct, but in a much more visceral way it is a very real thing here in the Northern Hemisphere. You sense the days getting longer, the light brighter and nature is changing. And you with it perhaps.
We’re having such cozy evenings and days this month, and I find myself longing to embroider for some reason – here’s hoping the New Year brings with it more health to my family, and to me new eye glasses that work! I’m really looking forward to going back to sewing and writing and reading and all those things that I’ve done without since just before the pandemic started.
