I love working with self drying clay! My daughter and I made these ornaments the other day. We rolled out the clay, and put a crocheted doily on it when we rolled it the last time. Then we cut out ornaments using ordinary cookie cutters. We used a straw to make a whole for hanging, and when the ornaments had dried we threaded a white and red string through the holes.
I also made this teacup holder by putting one of the ornaments in a glass to dry, so that it dried to this shape.
It is so much fun to make ornaments yourself. They’re fun to make, pretty to look at and the perfect gift for relatives or teachers for Christmas.
