When I’m bored or need an extra bit of energy I sometimes take fairytale-pictures of my daughter.
I rummage through my collection of flea market finds and put together a costume of some sort. This time I used a pair of old curtains and my mother’s belt from the 70s.
I made the crown a few years ago, but hadn’t found the project to use it for before this.

We all (her Dad was my assistant) thought she could have used a pair of katanas or something like that for the photoshoot – maybe next time! 
Here in the close up you can see how little time and effort I put into the costume! I just cut through one of the curtains with a pair of scissors and that was that. But it still looks good, especially with my new snake necklace (also a DIY, made from old necklaces and bracelets).
I wanted to shoot while there still were anemones in the forest. 
It was a lovely, lovely evening, with gentle sunshine shining through the woods.
This is actually just a little copse of trees smack in the middle of our town, but you wouldn’t know it from the pictures!
By this time I was ready to get back home to my computer and look at the pictures, but my daughter had different ideas! She loved walking around being fierce and posing whenever she felt like it.
