This weekend it felt as if spring had finally sprung. Blue skies, snow melting, even some flowers starting to show their buds. Yesterday we got a dose of winter again, with lots of snow! It thankfully melted during the night, so now I’m back to pretending it’s full spring.
My pelargoniums are enjoying the extra sunlight. I love this salmon pink colour! It used to be one of my least favourite colours, but that has changed during the years. It’s all about context – salmon pink carnations with a spray of Baby’s Breath still feels too kitschy even for me, but in an otherwise bright kitchen with a consistent colour scale they can feel totally on point.
Finally – spring signs in my garden! This is why you endure all those dark and rainy months.

Härliga vårbilder!
Todellakin, varma kevään merkki, että lumi sulaa melkein saman tien tultuaan.
