February

Usually this  time of year my main occupation is crocheting, finishing off half finished DIY:s, and above all washing the kids’ clothes when we’re having a rainy/snowy winter. If February is really cold we go for long walks on the ice and build snow castles in the yard, but this winter is definitely not such a winter! One day it is snowing and a few degrees minus, the next day we have an autumn storm with wind rattling the ceiling and trees, and rain soaked kids coming home from school. So  this is not an ordinary February, also because I definitely don’t have time for sitting down and crafting, or the space for it! This February is Renovation Month at our house.

We started renovating the upstairs bathroom more than 5 years ago, and are soon finished. In fact, we’re so close to finished that my Dad and I got started on the downstairs bathroom as well. Which means the whole house is a mess! Stuff everywhere, and  the only person who has any chance of finding anything is me. I am so looking forward to these renovations being finished, and finally having to lovely working bathroom, and not only that – when we’re finished I will also have a craft room of my own, in stead of the walk through-space that is now formally my craft room, but informally the kids new Ipad- and craftroom. They have grown so much and need more space now that almost all of them are attending school. Anyways, here are a few pictures for this weeks MakroTex-challenge on the subject ”February”:
