Sometimes I don’t get any Christmas feeling at all, no matter how many Christmas carols we sing, but I always want to make gingerbread houses.
There is something so alluring about a work of art that
- doesn’t have high demands on esthetics – everyone can participate
- is meant to be perishable, and not only that – eatable
- brings so much joy to everyone who looks at it, no matter if it’s a store bought gingerbread house or a large construction made by a pro
