Gingerbread season

Sometimes I don’t get any Christmas feeling at all, no matter how many Christmas carols we sing, but I always want to make gingerbread houses.

There is something so alluring about a work of art that

  • doesn’t have high demands on esthetics – everyone can participate
  • is meant to be perishable, and not only that – eatable
  • brings so much joy to everyone who looks at it, no matter if it’s a store bought gingerbread house or a large construction made by a pro

Here’s a look at some of the houses that I’ve made during the years:

This year’s house will be something special, something I’ve never tried before, and I am so excited to show it to you!
