On my plate

We always have a jar of red mojo sauce in our refrigerator . Yesterday I had to make an impromptu dinner from what I found in the fridge, so I made homemade french fries, added cheddar cheese, a simple salad and fried chicken, and it all would have tasted bland if not for the mojo sauce.

We grow our own chilies, and mixing them in a sauce like this gives loads of different flavours that pop up one after the other and complement each other. You are supposed to eat the sauce with potatoes, but we eat it with almost anything all year round.
