När man städar hittar man ibland skatter

The fun thing about cleaning the house thoroughly (every nook and cranny! EVERYTHING has to be cleaned now because the dust is just EVERYWHERE!) is that you find things that you didn’t even remember you had, and sometimes that is a sign that you should simply get rid of that item, but sometimes you find real gems like this 2 rand coin that I recently found. It brings back so many memories from South Africa! I wish we had a lot more money so we could visit South Africa – we haven’t been there since we got our little one 7 years ago.

The animal on the coin is a Springbok – we saw so many of them when we went on safari. It was amazing – awesome in the real sense of the word.

The house is a mess, but I get these little bouquets every other day from the kids, which really lighten up the place! Fresh flowers are like lit candles – they demand attention so that you focus on  them and ignore the rest of the messy house!

Now I’m off to paint the walls of my new craft room! Soon I’ll post some pictures of the progress we’re making – I’ve been so busy with the renovation so I haven’t made anything crafty in a while (if you don’t count plastering walls, painting, demolishing stuff etc as crafting!) and my hands are itching to first decorate the craft room and then finally have some place to create new things – I have so many things on my to do lists, so many fun stuff to show you guys, but first the room has to be finished.

Have a lovely Monday!

P.S. Skall svara på era kombuchafrågor i ett senare inlägg så fort jag bara hinner! Har lite bråttom just nu med renoveringen, men det lugnar snart ner sig!
