I originally posted this on 23 Jun 2014. During my summer vacation I will repost some of my craft posts.
I made these shoes one summer when it was really rainy. The shoes were a flea market find that didn’t cost much – 1,25 euros! The rest of the material I already had at home.
I made a few roses out of silk ribbon. Then I had a glass of wine and tried out where the ribbon roses would go on the shoes!
The roses were simply made by winding the ribbon round itself and sewing it together at the bottom.
This is the perfect project for a glue gun. I usually buy glue that you use for woodworking which is really sturdy, and a bit overkill on a project like this.
I glued the lace to the shoes and rouched it while gluing it.
Then I glued on the flowers and a thin ribbon.
I added the rest of the trimmings and then the shoes were finished!

Härliga! Du kan du!
Verkligen tjusiga skor! Kramar Liza
Hehehe.. upplyftande underbara!
